Spent a week in Pucon at this hostel and enjoyed my stay. Staff was very hospitable and arranged good deals on hiking the volcanoe and thermal springs. Lots of dank barbecues prepared by ex-gourmet chef. Nothing like a hot sauna with hot girls after a day of hiking. Will probably come back in future.

This hostel is fantastic. One of the best I´ve been to in South America! The staff are very friendly and always willing to do what they can to help. I was in the 6 bed dorm with a private bathroom with a jucuzzi!!! Top place!

What can we even say...? We had an absolute blast. Thanks so much to all the staff (who are amazing) and other guests for making our time in Pucon so awesome, we seriously did not want to leave, and we will not be forgetting it any time soon. 100%. Gives other places a lot to live up to.

This hostal has a great staff! They were super helpful, and even went out of their way to book a tour for me. Also, there were several barbecues during my stay so that the people could hang out. Great rooms, lovely yard with a pool. And it is on a quiet street in Pucon, just a few minutes walk from the main street. I would definitely stay here again!

It felt more like a stay at someones home than a hostel. Everything was very comfortable and clean, and they had a great yard with a grill and pool for relaxing after a long day of hiking. The staff was really nice, and organized all of my activities right from the hostel.

Etnico was a great hostel. I felt very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful...they helped arrange activities for us everyday. The kitchen was the biggest I´ve seen since I´ve been here. I would definitely recommend it, I can only imagine how great it must be in the summer months when the pool is up and running.

This hostel was the greatest place we stayed ever. We felt at home. We even felt a bit homesick when we left! Owner Gustavo is a great host, he guided us to the top of Villarica volcano himself! Also organized hotsprings for us and a BBQd meal on the last night. Adrian was the BBQ expert who also works at the hostel and Conny was also very nice. Would recommend this to my family any time! Rooms were good, building is old monastery with a great garden protected by Mateo, best dog ever!

The Hostal is right by the lake, and close to town. The staff was very helpful(drove us to a hotspring in the middle of the night) and although some comments said it was cold, I didnt think that was an issue at all (most houses in Chile dont have central heating- the fire places in the hostal were plenty warm). It is spacious.
